We collect only the information necessary to process your plot application:
- Account details: name, email, mobile number, password (stored as a hash — never in plain text)
- Application details: father's name, date of birth, gender, category, address, city, state, PIN code, PAN, Aadhaar (both optional)
- Documents: ID proof, address proof, photograph, category eligibility document — only if you choose to upload them
- Payment information: the registration amount and transaction reference returned by our payment gateway. We never see or store your card or bank details
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, device type — used for security and to prevent abuse
2. How We Use Your Information
- To verify your identity and process your plot application
- To communicate with you about your application, allotment, and payment
- To send you a one-time verification code (OTP) to your email address when you sign up, log in, or reset your password
- To notify the sales representative or referral partner who introduced you, so they can assist you through the process
- To comply with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share information only with:
- The developer (Krish Developers) — for the sole purpose of plot allotment and registration
- Our payment gateway — to process your registration amount securely
- Government authorities — when required by law or the rules of the Jan Awas Yojna
- The referral partner who introduced you — a limited set of details, so they can help you through the process
4. Data Retention
We retain your account and application data for as long as necessary to complete the plot allotment and registration process, and for any additional period required by law. You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing us.
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data:
- All traffic is encrypted using HTTPS
- Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing (never in plain text)
- Uploaded documents are stored outside the public web folder and are accessible only through your authenticated account
- Session cookies are secure, HTTP-only, and SameSite-protected
6. Cookies
We use two types of cookies:
- Session cookie: keeps you logged in during your visit
- Referral cookie: remembers which partner referred you, so we can credit them properly
You can disable cookies in your browser, but this may affect your ability to log in or complete an application.
